Abstract:
Our definition in this paper for Local binary patterns (LBP) is used to
characterize the area of the pixel by its own binary derivatives of the pixel. Related
with our definition for LPB, the patterns are mostly used for pattern recognition, face
recognition and movement detection.
Our aim for this thesis is to get in details of LBP and to conclude some
results for patterns based on the algorithms developed for this topic. However,
without forgetting the impact of LBP on images and on images changes after
injection of LBP functionalities.
In the end, we will analyze an approximation of the image results with LBP
and try to determine the feature of the LBP because we cannot skip the fact that it is a
type of visual descriptor used for classification in computer vision.
