dc.description.abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of the female employmentrate in the European Union where we have used panel analyses of 27 countriesmembers of the European Union from 1995 till 2008. In order to make comparisonamong countries we have included institutional variables like: maternity leave, childcare facilities, college education, female unemployment rate and part-timeemployment. We expect this variables to have a positive impact on the femaleemployment rate except for the female unemployment rate. At the same time we aretaking in consideration the national employment structure in Macedonia compared tothe EU countries. |
